Retrofitting a small-scale facility with a pretreatment module (degreasing + phosphating + drying) and a fully automated painting line with controlled curing, tailored to the required coating process.
We delivered a fully integrated turnkey solution for high‑efficiency surface preparation and coating of small‑sized metal components. The project involved retrofitting a small-scale facility with a complete automated line, combining chemical pretreatment, precision painting, and controlled drying in one seamless system.
System Overview:
The line integrates three core stages:
- Pretreatment Module: Chemical pretreatment including degreasing, phosphating, and passivation to ensure optimal surface conditions for coating adhesion.
- Automated Painting: Precision spray painting application, tailored to the required coating process.
- Thermal Drying: Forced-air drying with controlled temperature for proper curing.
Key Features:
- Centralized Control: All processes are managed by a PLC‑based control platform with an intuitive HMI (Human-Machine Interface) for full process visibility and easy operation.
- Flexible Tuning: Capable of accommodating diverse part geometries and various paint formulations (e.g., PU, PE, UV, NC, water-based).
- Compact Footprint: Designed to fit within the constraints of a small-scale facility while maximizing throughput.
Results Delivered:
- Consistent Coating Quality: Stable, repeatable results for serial production.
- Reduced Material Consumption: Precision application minimizes paint waste.
- Drastic Reduction in Manual Labor: Full automation significantly lowers operator involvement.
- Increased Efficiency: Integrated, continuous workflow from pretreatment to finished coated parts.
This project demonstrates our ability to design and implement compact, fully automated finishing lines that transform small-scale operations into highly efficient, consistent production cells.
