Automation of Coating Application in Existing Paint Booth
We developed a custom automatic painting machine and integrated it into a client's existing paint booth. The project was implemented for a manufacturer of solid wood interior doors to boost productivity, automate the painting process, and ensure consistent, high-quality coating results.
Key features of the solution:
- Custom-fit design: The machine is specifically engineered to fit the client's existing paint booth and accommodate their product dimensions.
- Smart controls: Spray gun trajectories are programmable via a touch panel and managed by a computer, guaranteeing uniform and repeatable coating quality.
- Advanced automation: Equipped with a 3D scanner for size adaptation, a light curtain for safety, and an automatic cleaning system for the spray heads to minimize downtime.
- Material versatility: The system works with a wide range of paints, including PU, PE, UV, NC, and water-based coatings.
- Simple operation: Requires only two operators for loading and unloading.
